Structural Warranty for Furniture

Warranty Period:
2 Years from the date of purchase.

Consumer Guarantees:
We guarantee that Totem Road products comply with Australian standards as required by law. If our goods fail to meet these standards and cannot be repaired or replaced by us in the first instance, we will provide a full refund of the purchase price.

Warranty Conditions:

Totem Road’s warranty does not cover:

• Commercial or Industrial Use:
  Damage resulting from industrial or commercial use that exceeds normal wear and tear.

• Environmental Effects:
  Changes in performance or appearance due to environmental conditions, such as shrinkage, expansion, bowing, splitting, or color changes.

• Negligence or Misuse:
  Defects or damage caused by negligence, abuse, misuse, improper maintenance, exposure to water, direct sunlight, salt air, chemicals, or accidents. This includes damage from using the product in a manner for which it was not designed and ordinary wear-and-tear.

• Improper Care:
  Failure to follow Totem Road Care Instructions or manufacturer’s guidelines, including any improper disassembly or reassembly.

• Relocation Damage:
  Damage incurred when a product is relocated by a transporter not approved by Totem Road, especially if due to improper packaging or handling.

• Extreme Use:
  Damage resulting from conditions beyond normal wear and tear, such as exposure to corrosive materials, ink, paint, body fluids, moisture, improper cleaning techniques, or placing furniture outdoors, near heat sources, or in direct sunlight.

• Unauthorized Work:
  Any repairs, modifications, or installations performed by third parties not approved in writing by Totem Road.

• Outlet Purchases:
  Seconds or discounted goods purchased from the Totem Road Outlet/Clearance/Warehouse Sales are not covered under this warranty.

• Lack of Proof of Purchase:
  Items for which you cannot provide a valid invoice or proof of payment.
